Founded by Lacy Heiberger, RN-BSN, MBA, CPHQ, Adverus Value Strategies is a boutique healthcare consultancy dedicated to helping organizations succeed in Value-Based Care—strategically, operationally, and sustainably.

With nearly two decades of healthcare leadership experience and a clinical foundation, Lacy brings a rare, systems-level perspective shaped by work across the provider, payer, and regulatory landscape. Her career spans bedside care, national consulting, product innovation, health plan strategy, and public policy—giving her a nuanced understanding of how patient outcomes, clinical practice, policy, operational execution, and financial stewardship intersect.

Lacy is widely regarded as a trusted advisor and collaborative leader, known for pairing clinical insight with operational rigor and strategic clarity. She partners closely with organizations to strengthen care delivery systems, advance value-based care initiatives, and thoughtfully align quality, efficiency, financial sustainability, and clinician and patient well-being.

Outside of work, Lacy is deeply devoted to her husband, Sam, and their three sons—who regularly remind her that even the most disciplined Lean methodology has its limits.
